Martin Merry & Reid energy practise is very involved with non-utility generators including hydroelectric, biomass, district heating, landfill gas plants and true co-generation set-ups. We also support industry suppliers and other related activities. Geographically our client affairs span North America plus some offshore projects.

Our main business partners in this energy segment include such companies as Boiler Insurance & Inspection, St. Paul Fire and Marine and Zurich Canada. Each of these insurers are very active with public utility insurance programs and municipality risks.
