Commercial Business
You will need insurance if you operate a business. An unexpected loss could cause financial hardship and destroy years of hard work.
Buildings and contents can be insured against fire, lightning and explosion of gas and boilers. The addition of 'Specified Perils' may include coverage for such things as riot, malicious damage, storm, flood, impact by aircraft, road and rail vehicles, escape of water from tanks or pipes and sprinkler leakage.
'All Risk' insurance will provide broader coverage including accidental damage or loss not specifically excluded. However, this will not take into account wear and tear, electrical or mechanical breakdown and gradual deterioration.

Directors and Officers Liability
Directors and Officers Liability insurance provides your directors and officers with financial protection in the event a suit is filed against them in conjunction with the performance of their duties as they relate to the company.
It is important not to confuse Directors and Officers insurance with Errors and Omissions insurance. Errors and Omissions insurance responds to failures and negligence with respect to products and services, not the performance and duties of management.

Professional Errors and Omissions
Errors and Omissions insurance is designed to protect your business from lawsuits filed by unsatisfied clients. It will protect your company from claims if a client were to hold you responsible for errors or if you were to fail to perform as outlined in the contract.
Generally, clients' expectations are much higher today and professionals can not escape the possibility that their work may fail to meet these expectations. Errors and Omissions insurance should be an essential part of any business insurance portfolio.
